British weather can be unpredictable, and prolonged exposure to rain, frost and damp during the winter can affect the finishes, fabrics and frames over time. To keep your daybeds and loungers looking their best, we suggest bringing them inside or storing them in a dry location such as a garage or shed from mid-September to early November.

To protect your investment:

Use a premium-quality, breathable protective cover when your daybed or lounger is not in use, especially during wetter months. This helps prevent condensation, moisture build-up and mould.

Store cushions indoors as soon as the summer ends to avoid waterlogged fabrics and preserve their colour and comfort.

Clean your loungers thoroughly before storing them, using a soft brush and warm soapy water, and ensure they are completely dry before covering or putting them away.

If leaving frames outside, choose a sheltered spot and avoid placing them directly on grass or uneven surfaces.

Yes, the cushions for our daybeds and sunloungers are included as standard and are designed to be ultra-practical and weather-resistant.

Our outdoor cushions feature removable, zipped covers for easy cleaning and are made from hardy, stain-resistant fabrics that are UV resistant and water repellent. They are quick to dry after rain, allowing you to leave them on your daybed through the summer season.

While the cushions are water repellent and quick drying, they are not fully waterproof. To keep them in excellent condition through wetter months, we recommend storing cushions indoors or under cover during autumn and winter, or using a fitted, breathable outdoor cover when your furniture is not in use.

Many of our sunloungers and daybeds feature adjustable or reclining designs, allowing you to find the perfect position for sunbathing, reading or relaxing.

Never use cleaning solutions that contain harsh chemicals, as these can damage the fabrics and frames. Avoid using a jet washer, abrasive pads or wire brushes that could damage the fibres of your fabrics.
